Do you run or work for a business in Woodland Hills with a lot of documents to shred? Are you worried about getting rid of sensitive information in a safe, convenient manner? If you said “yes” to either question, then Southern California Shredding is the solution for you.

Southern California Shredding offers paper shredding and document destruction through our convenient drop-off location in Woodland Hills. Simply leave your documents here, and our team will handle the rest.

Why Choose Southern California Shredding?

There are a number of reasons why you should entrust your document destruction needs to Southern California Shredding.

Fully Secure Document Destruction

Paper shredding is not merely an easy way to clear out the clutter in your office. Identity theft is one of the fastest-growing crimes in the nation. Insufficient document disposal could leave you, your employees, and your customers at risk of having their identities stolen. In fact, there are several federal and state laws designed to create the most effective document destruction process to prevent identity theft.

Southern California Shredding is fully committed to a fully secure shredding service. We follow all federal and California state laws to guarantee the destruction of your documentation and the protection of your information. We protect your information and clear out the clutter, so you do not have to worry about it.

Earth-Friendly Shredding Process

Do you run an environmentally-sound business? So do we!

The team at Southern California Shredding is committed to a green business model. Once we have guaranteed the destruction of all sensitive information, we then recycle all shredded materials as part of our process. If you had dropped off multiple boxes of paper to shred, we also recycle those cardboard boxes to prevent waste.

Additional Services at Your Convenience

Southern California Shredding uses this drop-off location to provide a convenient and effective shredding service, but we understand that this solution may not be right for all companies. That is why we are not limited to just shredding paper through this one location. Our team can do much more when our clients need additional support.

  • Too many documents to drop off? We run one of the only mobile shredding services operating across Southern California. We bring our mobile shredding trucks to your location, which can shred up to 6,000 pounds of paper in one hour as you watch.
  • If you don’t want us to shred your documents in front of you, we do not have to do so. Our trucks can also pick up your documents on a regular schedule and bring them back to our main office for destruction. It all depends on what is more convenient for you.
  • Paper is not the only thing we can shred. Southern California Shredding also provides hard drive destruction to completely eliminate your digital sensitive information and documentation. Depending on availability, we can either bring our hard drive-capable trucks to your location or pick up the hard drives and bring them back to headquarters. Not only do we destroy the hard drives and all media contained within them, but we also provide a document of destruction to guarantee our work.

FAQ

Answers Before You Book

Still have a question? Call our Lake Forest office at (949) 305-5511 and talk to a real person.

What does shredding cost?

Price depends on three things: how much you have, how it is packed, and how often you want service. There is no minimum. Call or ask for a quote, and we will give you an exact price for your needs. More does not always cost more. A monthly plan can even save you money.

Do I need to remove staples and paper clips?

No. If you are not using our bins, just group items by type: paper with paper, CDs with CDs, videos with videos. Put them where we can reach them. Staples and paper clips can stay in.

How do you keep my information secure?

We are fully licensed and bonded. You get a Certificate of Destruction when every job is done. We can also give you a locked container. When it is full, our team takes it straight to the truck and feeds it into the shredder. You can watch it all on the truck’s monitor.

What should I shred?

Anything that could put your identity or your business’s privacy at risk. That includes records that laws like HIPAA and FACTA say you must destroy. Common examples: bank statements, tax records, pay stubs, cancelled checks, loan and insurance papers, medical and legal files, utility bills and credit cards. Shred anything with a Social Security or card number. Hard drives and digital media too.
