FAQ

Answers Before You Book

Still have a question? Call our Lake Forest office at (949) 305-5511 and talk to a real person.

What should I shred?

Anything that could put your identity or your business’s privacy at risk. That includes records that laws like HIPAA and FACTA say you must destroy. Common examples: bank statements, tax records, pay stubs, cancelled checks, loan and insurance papers, medical and legal files, utility bills and credit cards. Shred anything with a Social Security or card number. Hard drives and digital media too.

What do I need to do before you arrive?

If you use our consoles or bins, leave them where our team can reach them. Keep CDs, hard drives and other media close by, but apart from the bins, so we can sort them for recycling. That’s it. We come on your day, shred it all on-site and give you a Certificate of Destruction.

How do you keep my information secure?

We are fully licensed and bonded. You get a Certificate of Destruction when every job is done. We can also give you a locked container. When it is full, our team takes it straight to the truck and feeds it into the shredder. You can watch it all on the truck’s monitor.

What does shredding cost?

Price depends on three things: how much you have, how it is packed, and how often you want service. There is no minimum. Call or ask for a quote, and we will give you an exact price for your needs. More does not always cost more. A monthly plan can even save you money.
